Punch Needle Embroidery is achieved using a special
hollow needle that has an eye in which to thread wool or cotton floss. This thread is
'punched' onto weaver's cloth, wool or any closely woven fabric that is kept taut on a
special hoop or frame. Loops are formed on the 'right' side of the fabric to create a
design that's been printed on the 'wrong' side.
